A collection of my first takes on nature and art photography posted for everyone to enjoy. I am only a beginner in this beautiful art so comments/suggestions are welcome. I might even get started as a professional if all goes well-after some million pushes on the magic button but for now..

Fade to Black
I think I am right to assume most of you reading this are simply too young to have worked on film, and so the "nostalgia" these images evoke is only regarded as a moody way to take "the usual pictures". Most of us are too young to have ever seen a photographic plate or a large format bellow camera, still the looks of those old photos continue to fascinate us. So much in fact that we've come to find a digital magic recipe to simulate the limits and failures of that old technology. Strong color casts, film grain, softening of edges- all here, we actually LOVE them so they're back in the digital age.It simply works when it shouldn't. Why? Dunno.. you tell me.

Suspended Time
There are places where time seems suspended in a perpetual frozen state. These are from the old building complex of the Politehnica institute of Bucharest ) the main technical university in Romania),and look very much like a grim concentration camp. The building's age is consistent to the building style of the pre-war years.

Lightscape Alchemy
Fire, Water, Air, and Rock merge to create unbelievable landscapes in the most mundane places. There is a saying among photographers about a golden hour when the fires in the sky touch the ground and set it aflame with blazing colors and each lake becomes a mystic mirror for all Creation...This golden hour occurs twice each day, once around sunset and a bit after, and once just before dawn and a bit after. The colors are simply unbelievable.
